Being a country home to religions such as Roman Catholic and Islam, Filipinos are often seen going to church on Sunday to observe the holy mass. The Philippines even declare religious occasions to be national holidays.
In line with the Filipinos’ religious hearts and souls, the Villar SIPAG works together with Vista Land in order to build places of worship around this archipelago we call home.
According to the Villar SIPAG website, the following places of worship are among those that have been initially earmarked for early completion:
1. Santuario de San Ezekiel Moreno will rise in Pulanglupa, Las Piñas City, in honor of the Spanish Augustinian priest who served as parish priest of Las Piñas from 1876 to 1879. The 700-seater church will feature a column-free edifice with a grand adoration chapel.
2. Santuario Madonna del Divino Amore, inspired by its namesake in Italy, will be a 1,000-seater at Evia in Alabang.
3. Crosswinds in Tagaytay will be the home of a Swiss-inspired church that will rise at the community’s highest point, Deux Pointe.
There will also be churches in other parts of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Villar SIPAG and Vista Land works together in order to bring these places of worship to all parts of the Philippines. The following are to rise in Luzon: Camella Provence in Malolos, Bulacan; Maia Alta in Antipolo, Rizal; Tierra Nevada in General Trias, Cavite; and Plantacion Meridienne in Lipa, Batangas. Churches will also rise in Vista Land communities in Visayas such as in the Azienda in Cebu and at Savannah in Iloilo; as well as at the Gran Europa in Cagayan de Oro in Mindanao.
