Looking for a picnics ground or good nature walk? Well look no further, the Metro Bambusetum Park is here. Located in Carnival Park Street, BF Resort Village, the nature park is home to various species of bamboo.

Las Pinas City has always been renowned for the Bamboo Organ. Former Congresswoman and now Senator, Senator Cynthia Villar though that it would be a good idea to have a new metro park to accompany the Bamboo Organ in order to boost the tourism in Las Pinas City. On July 27, 2005, the Bambusetum Living Museum and Park was born. Senator Cynthia inaugurated the site and planted one of the first bamboo plants near the riverbank.

The Bambusetum is home to numerous species of bamboo plants, where they are planted along the river and is showcased to many of the visitors. It is important to note that this park is protected, and picking or pulling the bamboo plants are prohibited.

Here are some tips before you visit:

  1. Bring a large umbrella if it sunny outside as our tropical climate can be brutal.

  2. Put on sunscreen as well before going to the park.

  3. Bring a picnic cloth to sit down on as it is a protected park and the workers work very hard to keep the cleanliness of the park.

  4. Do not throw garbage in the river. Las Pinas is a clean and green city and we try to keep it that way.

  5. Do not leave your garbage after your picnic. Just don’t please. Love the environment!

  6. Other people enjoy the park too, so be friendly and maybe strike up a conversation.
